What does the term adjustable screw connection mean? In this case, the problem is solved only by going to the sharpener, but the blades themselves may still be quite sharp, although it seems that the tool has already become dull.
In the case of these crusts, you can solve the backlash problem yourself.
Insert the wrench into the slot of the screw (the wrench is included) and turn it 1-3 degrees clockwise and the tool will work again as before.
If, after this procedure, the nippers began to jam (do not open under the influence of the springs), then you slightly pulled them. In this case, insert the wrench into the slot of the screw and turn counterclockwise 0.5-1 degrees. Thanks to the high precision adjustable screw connection, visits to the sharpener will be significantly reduced. Sharpening them, sooner or later, will be necessary, but much less often than with rivets.
